WE’RE HIRING: Social Media Marketing Coordinator

This is your opportunity to play a key role in a growing event studio with a great culture. Love by Lynzie Events + Design is a versatile event planning agency based in Toronto. Our services span Event Planning, Design, Content Creation, Decor Creation and more with a heavy emphasis on custom installations, creativity, and unparalleled organization. This position will be heavily involved in subsidiary company, The Pop Up Chapel Co.

As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for a team member prepared to get their hands dirty across a varied array of tasks including social media management on multiple platforms, content creation, public relations, and managing paid ads.

Social Media Marketing Coordinator


  • – Creating and implementing thoughtful digital strategies for all our social media platforms
  • – Planning, writing copy and developing content for our social feeds
  • – Managing and creating content deliverables to our brand partners
  • – Working with senior planning staff and Creative Director on special projects
  • – Managing and updating our website and blog
  • – Managing and updating our online marketing listings
  • – Submitting our work to publications and creating relationships with media
  • – Writing and creating media pitches
  • – On-site and off-site assistance with special event coverage for social
  • – The development and updating of media lists and other databases
  • – CRM management, creating automated flows, segmented lists and newsletters


  • – At least 2 years of experience in the digital and social media space
  • – Creative ideas for content creation across platforms
  • – Solid understanding of creating and implementing digital strategies
  • – Highly organized with amazing attention to detail
  • – Natural problem solver and not afraid of a challenge
  • – Ability to work in Apple based programs, G-suite and social platforms
  • – Some graphic design ability is an asset
  • – Must have a laptop

  • – Experience with paid campaigns is a large asset
  • – Experience with writing press releases and creating relationships with the media is an asset


  • – Compensation will be based upon candidates experience and eligibility
  • – Position is 32 hours/week and compensation will be hourly
  • – Flexible working hours and a hybrid WFH/Office model
  • – Must be available to work some events on weekends
  • – Applicant should be ready to begin work immediately
