From “I-dea” to “I-Do” Alex+Mats

We were over the moon to design for Alex and Mat’s wedding. That pun will make more sense when you see the incredible photo booth backdrop we created for their big day!

Alex and Mats were looking for their decor to be modern but also have timeless and vintage touches to match the vibe of the Windsor Arms Hotel.

In order to achieve this desired look and feel, down the aisle we had white acrylic risers between rows with white floating candles on them, acrylic signage with gold hand lettering, and beautiful warm tone, organic florals resting on top of small stacks of vintage books in the colour scheme of the wedding as a nod to Alex and Mats meeting in the library.

Now for the photo booth backdrop we were talking about. We wanted to create something truly unique and interactive for guests, so our in-house carpenter built and we painted a vintage style moon photo booth for guests to sit on and take pictures at. It was out of this world! Okay, no more moon puns.

Theme and Atmosphere: The decor will be inspired by modern styling, yet still fitting in with the Windsor Arms decor with timeless vintage pieces and colour palette. The mood will be romantic with low light and floating candles.
